Last Sunday Fr. John Keane officiated at a special mass in Kilcommon Prayer Garden which was filmed by RTE’ s Nationwide team. North Tipperary Rural Transport scheme assisted in bringing people to this special mass from Nursing homes and many outlying areas. It was a great day for the people of Kilcommon and all involved. THIRD LEVELSTUDENTS FROM SEPTEMBER 2010 A RURAL TRANSPORT BUS SERVICE WILL LEAVE LIBERTY SQUARE THURLES ON A SUNDAY EVENING AT 6.00 PM .THIS SERVICE WILL THEN CONTINUE TO PICK UP STUDENTS ON ROUTE TO LIMERICK.
IT WILL BE A DOOR TO DOOR SERVICE DROPPING OFF STUDENTS AT THEIR ACCOMMODATION IN LIMERICK .

An After School Study Bus from all Secondary Schools in Thurles will commence in September serving Drombane/Rossmore and Milestone/Kilcommon areas.
All students will be picked up at their school and brought to their home.

A bus serving all third level Colleges in Limerick will commence in October leaving Thurles on Sunday evening at 6.30 pm and will return on Friday evenings at a time to be decided.
Start point is Liberty Square and pick up points en route to Limerick.
All students will be brought to their accommodation in Limerick
